K.R.C. Genk is a professional Belgian football club, which is located in Genk. The club is often referred to as Koninklijke Racing Club Genk and they currently play their home fixtures at Cristal Arena. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 24,956 and is an arena with standing and seating. The Belgian Pro League club has played at Cristal Arena since 1999.

K.R.C. Genk competes domestically in the Belgian Pro League, which is the highest tier of football in Belgium. The domestic league in its current form was formed on the 1895. The club dates back to 1988, when the club was founded. K.R.C. Genk has traditionally played in a blue and white kit.

The club’s biggest domestic rival is Standard Liège. Currently K.R.C. Genk’s manager is Alex McLeish and he has been in charge at the club since 2014. The Belgian Pro League club is owned and managed by Herbert Houben.
